Foraging behavior of insect pollinators in the presence of ambush predators

Christina Thomsen is a former UTM Biology undergraduate student. Her paper was recently published in Teaching Issues and Experiments in Ecology. In this paper she develops a new lab that can be used in undergraduate ecology classes to understand the effects of predators on plant-pollinator mutualisms. Christina is now a technician in Marc Johnson’s lab and plans to enter graduate school next fall.
