UTM Biology donates gowns, surgical and N95 masks and gloves

The Department of Biology at University of Toronto Mississauga answered the call for critical COVID-19 supplies from the VP of Research and Innovation at University of Toronto by donating gowns, surgical masks, N95 masks, hand soap and paper towels and over 31,000 pairs of gloves. All these supplies will go out today to help the medical community stay safe during COVID-19 crisis.

The contributions came from the Biology Teaching Labs with Susan Dixon, Lisa Cheung and Phuong Bui working on gathering these supplies, but also from several research labs: Professor Sasa Stefanovic, Professor. Angela Lange, Associate Professor John Ratcliffe, Associate Professor Marc Johnson and Associate Professor Mary Cheng.
