Lorianne Green wins Principal’s Award of Excellence in Student Leadership Award!
The Department of Biology at University of Toronto Missisauga is proud of Lorianne Green, Biology Major, as she won the Principal’s Award of Excellence in Student Leadership Award!

Thank you so much for selecting me as a recipient of the Principal's Award of Excellence in Student Leadership! It truly means a lot to be recognized for all the work I have done and all the things I have been a part of during my time here at UTM. Through all my experiences here from my position as a Don in Residence, to my multiple positions, both volunteer and work-study, within the Center for Student Engagement, and then in clubs and through campus life, I really believe I have been able to make the most out of my university experience. It's always said that most learning happens outside of the classroom, and I agree with that statement wholeheartedly. I have learned so much in these leadership positions, both skill wise and about myself. I've had the opportunity to meet some really amazing people and make a positive impact. These are experiences I will always be grateful for as they have helped make me who I am today. I sincerely appreciate the recognition and congratulations to my fellow UTMSLA recipients!
