Dylan Rowe wins The Pynn Family Paleontology Award

Dylan Rowe wins The 2021 Pynn Family Paleontology Award for having achieved high academic standing and for his interest in the field of paleontology. This award was established in 2012 by Dr. Bruce Pynn, an alumnus of UofT Mississauga, to award undergraduate students who are pursuing paleontology and have demonstrated financial need.

Dylan is pursuing his passion for paleontology as a Masters student in Prof. Robert Reisz lab.

"I am extremely grateful and humbled to win the Pynn Family Paleontology Award. It is incredibly generous of Dr Pynn and his family to offer this award and it is much appreciated! Receiving this award confirms that I am on the right path towards my lifelong dream of becoming a paleontologist. Academic pursuits during the pandemic have been very challenging but I feel so fortunate to have been able to work in the Robert Reisz lab here at UTM for the last year and a half. Winning this award will greatly assist in advancing my career in hopes of meeting my goal of being a significant contributor to the field of paleontology." Dylan Rowe
