Dr. Tharusha Wijewardena's Photo is Chosen for Journal Cover

Recent postdoctoral fellow with the Murray Lab, Dr. Tharusha Wijewardena, had her photo chosen for the journal cover of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists Volume 113, Issue 1. Tharusha's photo features an Ontario native turtle species, the Blandings turtle -- a medium-sized turtle easily identified by its distinct bright yellow throat and chin and domed-shell. This species currently has a status of "threatened" as their natural wetland habitats become increasingly at risk.
