Dr. Angela Lange receives the prestigious Gorbman-Bern Memorial Lectureship

UTM Biology is proud to announce that Dr. Angela Lange received the The Gorbman-Bern Memorial Lectureship from the North American Society for Comparative Endocrinology (NASCE).

The Gorbman-Bern Memorial Lectureship was created in honour of Aubrey Gorbman and Howard A. Bern, founding fathers of the field of comparative endocrinology. NASCE awards every two years this lectureship in recognition of significant and continuous contributions to the area of comparative endocrinology and the associated scientific community. 

Dr. Angela Lange is the 5th recipient of this prestigious award and the first female researcher to receive it!

The North American Society for Comparative Endocrinology (NASCE; Societé Nord-Americaine d’Endocrinologie Comparée (SNAEC); Sociedad Norteamericana de Endocrinologìa Comparada (SNAEC)) is an interdisciplinary scientific organization dedicated to the study of comparative, evolutionary, ecological and model systems endocrinology.
