Celebrating Dr. Michael Phillips’ Promotion to Full Professor
The Department of Biology is proud to celebrate Dr. Michael Phillips on his recent promotion to Full Professor—an impressive achievement reached just three years after being named Associate Professor.
Dr. Phillips has been a valued member of the department for over nine years, having joined us from Barcelona, Spain. His research group, currently comprising five team members, investigates the metabolism of plant isoprenoids (terpenoids)—a remarkably diverse class of high-value metabolites that include photosynthetic pigments, enzyme cofactors, and a range of compounds with critical medical applications.
