BIO483 (Arctic Field Ecology) is scheduled to be offered in Churchill, Manitoba from July 27 - August 10 2021. In this field course you will visit tundra and boreal ecosystems, and learn about arctic and subarctic plants, animals, environments, and history.

This two-week summer field course will be held July 27 - August 10, 2021 at the Churchill Northern Studies Centre in Churchill, Manitoba (https://churchillscience.ca/). Topics will include arctic and subarctic geomorphology, wildlife, vegetation, and environments. Instruction will combine lectures with field trips to local tundra and boreal forest sites; students also will be responsible for completing an independent project based on local field work.
