Arctic Field Ecology

This two-week summer field course will be held July 27 - August 10, 2021 at the Churchill Northern Studies Centre in Churchill, Manitoba (https://churchillscience.ca/). Topics will include arctic and subarctic geomorphology, wildlife, vegetation, and environments. Instruction will combine lectures with field trips to local tundra and boreal forest sites; students also will be responsible for completing an independent project based on local field work.
