Overview:

This one-hour workshop will provide an overview of the Chinese health practice of Qi Gong and Tai Chi. You will experience how the slow, flowing and mindful movements of this practice can

help to promote physical and mental wellbeing. By the end of the session, you will have learned some basic moves that you can practice on your own.

 

About the Facilitator:

Brigitte Li is a certified instructor from the Ji Hong Tai Chi school in Mississauga ( https://www.taichi.ca/ ). The school opened in 2013 and provides systematic and rigorous training in the Yang, Wu and Chen Tai Chi styles. In addition, it runs Qi Gong, Chen Sword, Chen Fan classes as well as summer workshops. How to Prepare:

  • Register in advance to secure your spot.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and indoor, closed-toe shoes.
  • Bring a lock if you would like to store any belongings in our locker rooms (towel service is complimentary for all students).
  • Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
