Tournaments & Special events, disc golf course

UTM Intramurals offers a variety of Tournaments and Special Events for UTM students wishing to join a 1-day event. If it be virtual or in-person, we are offer multiple sport and recreation opportunities for students to enjoy. In person years, we have hosted a variety of tournaments & special events such as:

  • Inner-tube Water-basketball
  • 3v3 Basketball
  • Eagles Chase Challenge
  • Table Tennis
  • Squash
  • Badminton
  • Esports
  • Mini-foot and Disc Golf
  • Game Nights

Provincial Proof of Vaccine Requirement 

In accordance with the Province of Ontario Passport Certificate Regulation and effective September 22, 2021, all participants accessing indoor sport, recreation and fitness facilities must be fully vaccinated (2 doses plus 14 days).  The regulation can be found here.

Please note that all Sport & Rec participants of indoor programming are required to show proof of vaccination and complete a screening on the day of your visit.

EAGLES CHASE CHALLENGE | FALL EDITION

Leaves are changing and it is sweater season! Join the UTM Eagles Chase Challenge- Fall Edition on Friday October 15th 2021 for a virtual scavenger hunt that will have you complete different missions that relate to season changing here in Ontario! Complete as many missions as possible using the GooseChase App for a chance to win any of the listed prizes. Participants must register on IMLeagues and will receive more information via email. 

Date: Friday, October 15, 2021

Time: 8 AM to 10 PM EDT

Location: Virtual (using GooseChase App)

EAGLES CHASE CHALLENGE | VIRTUAL EDITION

Try the Eagles Chase Challenge from where you are in the world! On Thursdays November 4th 2021 take part with other UTM students in the virtual scavenger hunt exploring and completing the mission from whereever you. If you are on campus or half way across the world, join in on the fun and connect with other UTM students. Complete as many missions as possible using the GooseChase App for a chance to win any of the prizes. Participants must register on IMLeagues and will receive more information via email.

HOW TO REGISTER

Step One - Find the special event or tournament you wish to join submit a Team Entry Form to the UTM Intramurals administrative staff by the registration deadline electronically to utm.intramurals@utoronto.ca 

Please Note: If you wish to enter into multiple tournaments/events, you must submit a team entry form for each event/tournament. I.E. submit one team entry form for UTM Amazing Race, one team entry form for inner tube water polo and one team entry form for table tennis Tournament.

Step Two - Visit IM Leagues and register your team! Remind & invite your teammates to join your team! (If applicable) You will receive confirmation by email outlining your next steps and detailed information. 

  • NOTE: Esports Tournament participants must create a team using their Gamer Tag/ID. Gamer Tag/ID will be their Team Name

Please Note: For the 2021-2022 season, all participants must be registered on IMLeagues 24hours before their scheduled game. No registration = No Participation 

Step Three – Review the tournament rules and attend the event. Be welcoming to any Free Agents who wish to join a team for a specific event and have fun! Should you have any questions, email utm.intramurals@utoronto.ca
