The University of Toronto Tri-Campus Development Leagues (DLeague) provide a competitive sport opportunity for U of T athletes, allowing students to develop their sport skills through weekly practices with Coaches.

UTM students participating in DLeague get to rep our campus and compete against the St. George and UTSC campuses with the goal of becoming league champions.

UTM offers Development Leagues in the following sports:

Who is eligible?

Current UTM students that are either full or part-time undergraduate and graduate students.

 How D-League works:

  • 4 teams: UTM Eagles, UTSC Maroons, & St. George Reds and Blacks
  • Games are played on all three U of T campuses
  • Games played once per week:
    • Sundays for Outdoor Soccer, Basketball & Volleyball, Wednesday evenings for Hockey, and Monday evenings for Indoor Soccer
  • In addition to games, teams practice once per week, developing their sports skills with coaching staff and having fun as a team!

How much will it cost me?

There is NO cost to participate in UTM's DLeague teams! Transportation to and from games will be arranged and covered by the Athletic department.

Students must buy the official UTM DLeague team uniform to participate, which will be used on a 3-4 year cycle.

NOTE: For the 2018-19 season, all UTM D-League athletes must purchase the new Under Armour team uniform at the beginning of the season. Individual team uniform prices will vary.
