Join us for a walk and a discussion on sleep tips and strategies, led by our student Wellness Ambassadors.

Nov. 19, Nature Walk- Led by Cat Kriger

Join us for a nature walk around campus that sheds light on some Indigenous philosophies and touches upon the upcoming winter season we are moving towards. There will be a brief smudging ceremony.

Nov. 12, Practicing Gratitude and Positivity- Led by Nikki Robichaud

Discover perspectives that will allow you to achieve a more positive mindset and gratefulness in your everyday life. Learn the simple habits that can contribute to greater resiliency and happiness. Learn and share tips and tricks that can help you keep a regular and consistent gratitude practice.

Nov. 5, Explore the Credit River- Led by Cameron Walker

Get connected with nature and tour the river's edge. Learn about the different fish species, fishing techniques and opportunities right on UTM's doorstep. This walk will take us to some of the most popular spots along the credit river as you learn to identify fish habitat along with the necessary gear to experience this meditative activity!

Oct. 29 Mindfulness Walk-Led by Madeline Keogh

Discover a variety of mindfulness techniques and learn tips on how you can incorporate some of these simple tools into your everyday life to help manage regular stress. We will explore with our senses to heighten our nature experience on this walk.

Join us for a nature walk led by Dr. Peter Kotanen from the department of Biology. On this walk, we will explore the various wildlife and wildflowers on the campus we call home.

In honor of O-Week at UTM, we will be running a walk that will help you break the ice with fellow peers or colleagues. Walk and connect with as many people as you can with a guided script of three easy icebreakers! We hope to meet you for a brief conversation and a nature walk
