December 3rd, Maximize Productivity and Study Techniques- Led by Dray Perenic

Join us for a walk to connect, learn, discuss and share study tips to help you ace those exams or special work project.  Learn how to stop procrastinating and increase productivity while managing your stress.

November 26th, Wellness Ambassador - Led by Marcus & Devia 

Join us for a walk and a discussion on sleep tips and strategies, led by our student Wellness Ambassadors.

November 19th, Nature Walk- Led by Cat Kriger

Join us for a nature walk around campus that sheds light on some Indigenous philosophies and touches upon the upcoming winter season we are moving towards. There will be a brief smudging ceremony.

November 12th, Practicing Gratitude and Positivity- Led by Nikki Robichaud

Discover perspectives that will allow you to achieve a more positive mindset and gratefulness in your everyday life.  Learn the simple habits that can contribute to greater resiliency and happiness.  Learn and share tips and tricks that can help you keep a regular and consistent gratitude practice.

November 5th, Explore the Credit River- Led by Cameron Walker

Get connected with nature and tour the river's edge.  Learn about the different fish species, fishing techniques, and opportunities right on UTM's doorstep.  This walk will take us to some of the most popular spots along the credit river as you learn to identify fish habitat along with the necessary gear to experience this meditative activity!

October 29th Mindfulness Walk-Led by Madeline Keogh

Discover a variety of mindfulness techniques and learn tips on how you can incorporate some of these simple tools into your everyday life to help manage regular stress.  We will explore with our senses to heighten our nature experience on this walk.

October 22nd Identifying Wildlife and Wildflowers- Led by Dr. Peter Kotanen

Join us for a nature walk led by Dr. Peter Kotanen from the department of Biology. On this walk, we will explore the various wildlife and wildflowers on the campus we call home.

October 15th (Reading Week) De-Stress Walk- Led by Nikki Robichaud  

Join us for a walk to connect, learn, discuss and share de-stressing tactics that can help support you through your academic studies/work life to help you find your optimal work/life/balance.

October 1st, Pumpkin Spice and More:  Seasonal Eating and Nutrition- Led by Nikki Robichaud

Discover the many different tasty, local and nutritious foods this fall!  Learn how to incorporate these seasonal foods into a healthy eating plan and discuss mindful tactics associated with healthy eating behaviours. Bring your favourite pumpkin spice recipe!

September 24th Pink Walk-Led by the Run for the Cure Team

Come out and wear your pink shirt in support of the CIBC Run for the Cure, in support of the Canadian Cancer society and Breast Cancer Awareness.  Donations are welcome!

September 10th Bugs on the UTM Campus- Led by Professor Darryl Gwynne

Learn about the variety of insects and their place on the UTM campus.  This walk is in collaboration with the Department of Biology.

September 3rd Break the Ice- Led by Cindy MacDonald

In honor of O-Week at UTM, we will be running a walk that will help you break the ice with fellow peers or colleagues. Walk and connect with as many people as you can with a guided script of three easy icebreakers! We hope to meet you for a brief conversation and a nature walk
