Overview:

Join us for an energizing, beginner-friendly Bhangra Fitness Class celebrating Vaisakhi, a spring harvest festival from Punjab, India. Led by instructors from Sifat Canada, this session will begin with a brief introduction to the cultural significance of Bhangra and its connection to Vaisakhi, followed by a fun and accessible dance workout inspired by this vibrant Punjabi folk tradition. No prior dance experience or RAWC membership is required. Mango lassis, samosas, and refreshments will be available following the session.

 

How to Prepare:

  • Register in advance to secure your spot.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and indoor, closed-toe shoes.
  • Bring a lock if you would like to store any belongings in our locker rooms (towel service is complimentary).
  • Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
