Students are our priority

Due to the payment of mandatory athletic incident fees, registered UofT students are considered a priority at the Department of Recreation, Athletics & Wellness. Memberships are available to staff, faculty and community (aged 18+) with access to our state-of-the-art Fitness Center and High-Performance Center, drop-in fitness classes, squash courts, tennis courts, beach volleyball and open gym/pool times. We have something for everyone!

Hours of Operation

The RAWC is open Monday to Friday 6am to 11pm and weekends 9am to 8pm. However, there are times when the hours are restricted or limited due to exams, maintenance, and the December holiday closure. NO refunds or membership extension will be given for these closures/restricted hours. Our webpage is updated regularly for any changes in operating hours.  

Member Accounts and Responsibilities

To create a new account, members are required to present a piece of government-issued photo ID and any other document specific to the membership type. Members must read and abide by the General Member Conduct and Facility Rules, the Department of Recreation, Athletics & Wellness Fair Play Code and Spectator Code of Conduct.


Parking is not included in the Membership Rate.  Community members can purchase an Athletic Parking Permit at the Membership Desk.  All other members can purchase parking at the Pay & Display or at the Parking and Transportation Department 


Payment may be made by debit card, VISA MasterCard or American Express.  


Refunds will be considered for serious medical reasons only.  A medical doctor's note is required. Membership cancellation requests can be made in writing to A $30 administrative fee will apply.
