RAWC Member Information

In accordance with the provincial government announcement on January 3 regarding public health measures, the UTM Recreation, Athletics & Wellness Centre is closed at this time.  During the closure, we invite all students to visit our virtual programs page to stay connected, be active, and move your way to wellness. Updates will be posted here.

Provincial Proof of Vaccine Requirement 

In accordance with the Province of Ontario Passport Certificate Regulation and effective September 22, 2021, all participants accessing indoor sport, recreation and fitness facilities must be fully vaccinated (2 doses plus 14 days).  The regulation can be found here.

Please note that all Sport & Rec participants of indoor programming are required to show proof of vaccination and complete a screening on the day of your visit.

Students are our priority

At this time, registered U of T students have access to RAWC programs and facilities. This membership gives access to our state-of-the-art Fitness Center group fitness classes, UTM Intramurals, Drop-in Sports, squash courts, tennis courts and beach volleyball.

As we prepare for a safe and gradual return to campus, RAWC memberships will return in stages. UofT Staff & Faculty memberships are now available. Please visit our Membership Types page for more information. Community members will be welcomed back at a future date. This page will be updated with information on community and alumni memberships at that time.

Hours of Operation

The RAWC is open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, there are times when the hours are restricted or limited due to exams, maintenance, and the December holiday closure. Please note that refunds or membership extension will not be given for these closures/ restricted hours. Our webpage is updated regularly for any changes in operating hours.  


Parking is not included in the Membership Rate. Community members can purchase an Athletic Parking Permit at the RAWC Membership Services Desk. All other members can purchase parking at the Pay and Display or at the Parking and Transportation Department 


Payment may be made by debit card, VISA, MasterCard or American Express.
