Rasheed Clarke completed his honours bachelor of arts degree at U of T Mississauga in 2011.

A seasoned broadcaster, Clarke spent seven years working in radio as a traffic reporter. As a freelance communications professional, he managed social media, digital content and communications for a number of organizations, including Skywords Media, Entec Corporation and the Business Development Centre.

Now working as communications coordinator for Independent Financial Brokers of Canada, Clarke juggles a variety of duties for the not-for-profit professional association. In addition to maintaining the organization's website, Clarke updates and monitors social media channels, designs print materials, and writes communications documents for the association's members and the media.

Clarke has also written a book, Three Tablets Twice Daily, which chroniclies his experience living with an inflammatory bowel disease and his decision to undergo surgical removal of part of his digestive system in 2013.
