Mentor a student

Are you an alumnus interested in supporting students and young alumni as they prepare for life after university, explore career choices and develop skills necessary for today's employment market?

Strengthen our UTM alumni community by becoming an alumni mentor to a student or recent graduate. Your wealth of knowledge as an emerging leader or as an individual with years of experience, will provide insight and first-hand knowledge that could impact the student and new graduate experience in significant ways.

Become a mentor for fall 2019:

Alumni who are five years post-graduation or more are encouraged to participate as mentors in person or remotely.

1. Complete an online application by Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
2. Meet your mentee at the opening reception in September 2019 or online. Start a dialogue about your career path, industry trends, personal interests and your UTM experience.
3. Continue the dialogue with three or more meetings in person, by phone or online until the closing reception in February 2020
