Personal statements are a key component of applications for graduate and professional programs. A well-written piece can help you stand out. This talk, organized by UTM Alumni Relations and the UTM Career Centre, will cover techniques students can use to be noticed as applicants, as well as topics to avoid.

This session is open to all alumni and students who are considering applying to graduate and professional programs. UTM students considering further education are encouraged to explore the services and resources that are provided by the UTM Career Centre.

Teo Salgado (HBA 1997 UTM) is a highly regarded higher education professional and the founder of VerveSmith Ltd., an education consultancy serving clients around the world. He holds a Master's degree in Political Science from McGill.

Please contact Alumni Relations if you require information in an alternate format, or if any other arrangements can make this event accessible to you.
