Ongoing projects include work on the depositional environment of the Dolese Quarry, and description of new specimens and new taxa from that famous locality; study of Massospondylus anatomy and growth, study of the egg and embryo site in the GGHNP, South Africa; detailed cranial anatomy of the early theropod Coelophysis; revision of known taxa and description of new species of caseid and varanopid synapsids.

Johannes Müller: several new captorhinid reptiles from India and China as well as Eocene squamates, and new Permian parareptiles;
Sean Modesto: new skull of Colobomycter pholeter, a parareptile from the Lower Permian of Oklahoma and a new skeleton of the Middle Permian diapsid Lanthanolania ivakhnenkoi from Russia;
Hans-Dieter Sues: biology of the Early Jurassic sauropodomorph dinosaur Massospondylus from South Africa.
