Justin Merdsoy: Sound Technician

Justin has been active in the St. John’s music community for two decades, splitting his time between performing and recording. His longest running project, the band Insomniac Soundtrack, performed for over ten years in various incarnations in both St. John’s and Toronto. During his time in Toronto, Justin also completed a diploma in recording arts at the Harris Institute. Since returning to St. John’s in 2003, he has been working as a freelance musician and composer as well as operating Clairvoyant Studios.  
  
Mark Turner: Producer, Backing Vocals, Tambourine 

Originally from St. John’s, Mark Turner splits his time between his doctoral studies at the Graduate Centre for Study of Drama at the University of Toronto and performing with his band King Nancy in St. John’s. With three albums under the band’s belt, To Quitta (2002), you were indestructible once (2004), and This is Not a High Five (2007), Mark now spends his time presenting papers on various aspects of Newfoundland theatre and film, and composing his dissertation. 

Andrew Dale: Lead Vocals, Spoons, Occasional Tambourine 

A native of Coley's Point, Andrew moved to St. John's in the fall of 1999 to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Memorial University of Newfoundland’s School of Music. Since completing his studies, Andrew makes his living as a freelance musician in the St. John’s area. From being a featured vocalist in the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra’s annual performance of Handel’s Messiah to playing bouzouki and bass guitar for folk ensembles such as The Once and The Dardanelles, Andrew is fluent in a number of musical styles and instruments. Most recently, he has begun to tour nationally with performers such as The Cobblestones & Bobby Evans and internationally as a stage-actor with Artistic Fraud.

Kate Bevan-Baker: Fiddle

Corner Brook-born Kate Bevan-Baker (http://www.katebevanbaker.com) has been playing violin since the age of 5 and enjoys many musical styles from Celtic to Jazz and Classical. She has been a member of number of performance ensembles from Newfoundland to Ontario and has toured both nationally and internationally as a violinist and vocalist. In 2006 she released her debut CD, Snapshot, which traverses Celtic, classical and jazz styles. She is currently engaged in her Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance from Memorial University of Newfoundland’s School of Music.
