Sheridan is located approximately one-half hour from downtown Toronto and about 20 minutes west of UTM. The Fine Art Studio (FAS) courses are timetabled for Monday afternoons and evenings and all day Tuesdays and Thursdays in the following blocks of time: 9 a.m.-12:00 noon; 2:00-5:00 p.m.; and 6:00-9:00 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are, therefore, free for students to choose electives taught at the UTM campus.
The two-hour noontime gap allows for continued practice in studios and time to attend lectures, films and special events arranged by studio faculty, and the Fine Art Student Association.
A shuttle bus between UTM and Sheridan provides transportation to students for all scheduled classes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (daytime and evening service). There is no charge to use the shuttle bus for Art & Art History students.
The University of Toronto at Mississauga (UTM) is the western campus of the University of Toronto and also is approximately one-half hour from downtown Toronto. From Sheridan To UTM
- Take Oakville Transit bus #24 to South Common Mall (not bus #24 to Oakville Go Station)
- Get a transfer and get off at South Common Mall and take #29 bus back to Erindale
From UTM to Sheridan
- Take Mississauga Transit bus #29 to South Common Mall
- Get a transfer and look for the only Oakville bus stop at South Common
- Take #24 Oakville Transit (takes you right to Sheridan)
