Art and Art History Program Admission Requirements

To qualify for Art & Art History — a collaborative program between Sheridan and University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) — applicants must meet the admission requirements of the University of Toronto Mississauga, which include acceptable OAC credits. Students wishing to enter the A&AH Program apply only to the University of Toronto Mississauga through the Ontario Universities Application Centre: http://www.ouac.on.ca There is a code on the application form that indicates the A&AH Program at UTM. Please consult the University of Toronto Admissions Office for more details. Current high school students should obtain an Ontario Universities Application Form from their high school guidance office.

Portfolio Review

Neither a portfolio of studio work nor high school experience in art history is required to register in the Program; students with strong academic records and little studio background have flourished in the program, as have students with studio experience.
