JOR

The Journal of Orthoptera Research publishes any articles incorporating the insect Order Orthoptera and its relatives, the Blattodea, Mantodea, Phasmodea, and Grylloblattodea. We aim to disseminate ideas and insights arising from the study of these insects and to improve the accessibility of the subject to new generations of scientists. Papers published cover the whole range of biological studies of these insects, from conservation to biological control. Such studies include pest management, behavior, genetics, cytology, ecology, morphology, parasitology, physiology, systematics and taxonomy, etc. In taxonomic work, the journal encourages comprehensive and synthetic papers and those dealing with modern methods. It is published four times a year (beginning 2012), and authors are provided with quality PDFs of their papers.
