Welcome to Smarti Gras - UTM Summer Research Celebration!

2017 Smarti Gras Poster Presentations

The Office of the Vice Principal, Research, in collaboration with the Dean's Office, and UTMAGS, will be celebrating undergraduate summer research on campus and across all academic disciplines.

Current undergraduate summer research students (ROP, USRA, UTEA, etc.) will showcase their work through oral and poster presentations about the exciting research project they have taken on over the summer.

Approximately 60 poster presentations and eight oral presentations will be featured. There will be a BBQ lunch (vegetarian option provided), ice cream, and music.

We look forward to having the opportunity to bring the fun and festivities, and celebrate you as a young researcher.


Date of Celebration: Wednesday, August 15, 2018
Time: 9 am - 2 pm
Location: Instructional Centre, IB-150
Price: Free for presenters (oral and poster) and $5 BBQ lunch for other participants.

Everyone is welcome to this celebration!

Tickets for the BBQ lunch may be purchased for $5 at the registration desk near IB-150. They are available on a first-come, first serve basis until quantities last.
