How will I benefit from participating in utmONE?

Evidence shows that students who participate in transitional programs, such as utmONE, achieve higher Cumulative Grade Point Averages (CGPAs), learn more during their time at university, and have enriched relationships with faculty and other students.

To recognize this achievement, successful completion of utmONE is noted on your university academic transcript.

When do I register for utmONE?

All interested new first-year students will be able to register beginning July 2012.

What is the required time commitment?

You will meet with your learning community weekly for an hour and a half during the fall term. During the winter term, you will be expected to attend approximately 9 workshops/or events (one to two hours per week).
