Learn More

Max’s Big Ride is dedicated to helping find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Max’s Big Ride began in 2015 and has grown to include The Ice Cream Ride and Max’s Big Climb, This year we partnered with Professor Patrick Gunning and the Centre for Medicinal Chemistry at UTM

The Project @ UTM

Max’s Big Ride has two main goals; to raise funds for a cure and to raise awareness about Duchenne muscular dystrophy. It is entirely possible that the current generation of children living with Duchenne could be the first to survive it - and we won’t stop fighting until we help find a cure.

 Max’s Big Ride is looking for motivated and passionate students to help us grow our initiatives in 2018. Possible projects could include;

·  If you are creative and have a passion and talent for graphic design and marketing, we’d love to have your help with our print and social media campaigns.

·  Do you like connecting with people? We need help planning, organizing and executing an event or series of events at UTM to help raise the profile of Max’s Big Ride on campus and recognize our partnership with the UTM Centre for Medicinal Chemistry.

By being involved in this Innovation Project, you will have the chance to volunteer with fellow UTM students to develop these and other ideas to help raise awareness for Max’s Big Ride!
