In connection with the University of Toronto Mississauga, the Centre for Student Engagement offers several awards for student leaders and student groups on campus. Let us celebrate your achievements by discovering the opportunities available below.

Student of the Month Award

Have you recently made a difference in the UTM community? Every month, the Centre for Student Engagement profiles an outstanding UTM student. If you've contributed something amazing to the campus or your community this month, let us celebrate your  accomplishments!

UTM Emerging Leader Award

The UTM Emerging Leader Award recognizes new-to-UTM students who show dedication and involvement and aspire to improve and contribute to the UTM community. New-to-UTM students include first year, transfer, and any students who are completing their first year at UTM.

Student Organizations' Awards

The Centre for Student Engagement offers two awards that recognize outstanding effort and achievement by student groups on campus. These include:

Program of the Year Award

This award recognizes outstanding achievements in event and program planning by any student organization recognized through Ulife.

Outstanding Initiative Award 

This award recognizes an innovative or creative approach or project undertaken by a Ulife recognized student organization. This award was developed to identify and celebrate projects and initiatives that are not necessarily events or programs.

The University of Toronto and the University of Toronto Mississauga offer a variety of awards available to student leaders. These include:

Principal's Involvement Award

The Principal's Involvement Award recognizes students who have enhanced the quality of student life at the UTM. Involvement, for the purposes of this award, is defined as the myriad ways that students engage with campus life outside of their academic commitments.

Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Awards

The Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Awards were established in 1994 by the University of Toronto Alumni Association (UTAA) and the Division of University Advancement. The awards seek to recognize students who have made outstanding extra-curricular contributions to their college, faculty or school, or to the University of Toronto as a whole.
