What is the Parent & Family Workshop Series?

Are you the parent and family of a new student to UTM? Do you wish you knew more about the university experience? Would you like to know what it is like to be a UTM student? We want to keep you informed so you can better support your student!

Starting in the 2016/17 academic year, the Office of Student Transition is offering new programming and outreach opportunities to parents and families of new UTM students. Facilitated sessions will be offered in Fall 2016 and Winter 2017, each empowering you to support your student through their transition to university life.

Staff from Student Housing & Residence Life, and the Office of Student Transition will be available to provide information about resources and supports available to your students.

In addition to the session, you are welcome to come and visit the beautiful UTM Campus, meet with student service representatives, and converse with other UTM families.
