Engaging Faculty Events

Engaging Faculty Events are designed to increase the opportunities for out-of-classroom interactions between students and faculty and allow for meaningful relationships to develop between students and faculty in an area of academic interest.

Our Fall/Winter term Engaging Faculty Events are open to ALL UTM students and will maximize your UTM experience by providing the opportunity to connect with faculty of the university. These events are meant to create a friendly and open environment for students - they are not academic, they are social.

Past events include Ice Skating, Wings and Things, Board Games, Theatre Productions and more all with a Faculty member.

There will be 6 Engaging Faculty Events this year, three in the fall, and three in the Winter.  Attendance at 2 events throughout the year will earn participants a CCR notation.
