Academic Coaching Program Registration

The Academic Coaching Program (ACP) offers academic support to new-to-UTM students. The program is designed specifically for first-generation, college transfer, mature, and international students. The mission of the program is to facilitate greater academic success and connections to the UTM community through the cultivation of better self-awareness, self-regulation, and motivational goal-setting. 

The Program has the following required components:

  • An intake interview with a learning strategist

  • Group academic coaching sessions (at least three out of four)

  • One-on-one sessions with an academic coaching mentor (at least two)

  • An online exit reflection 

To enroll in ACP, please fill in this form. After you submit this registration form, you will be contacted to schedule an intake interview. Interviews will be conducted during the first half of January. You will also be put in touch with your Academic Coaching Mentor and provided with a link to register for each group coaching session. Group sesions will be offered between January 22 and March 23, 2018. Multiple timing options will be avaible to choose from.
