Filling Positions Under the CUPE 3902 Unit 1 Collective Agreement

The Department of Sociology has occasional Assistant Invigilator opportunities for departmental make-up tests and we welcome applications from current University of Toronto students for the Assistant Invigilator Pool.

HOW TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION

To apply, please submit a completed assistant invigilator application form and a direct deposit form to Diana Becevello at the Department of Sociology in DV3206.  

If you would prefer not to provide your banking information at the outset, you may provide it at a later date, however, this may result in processing delays.

  • Preference in hiring assistant invigilators will be given to students enrolled in the University of Toronto.

Salary:

The salary rate (+ 4% vacation), in accordance with the CUPE 3902, Unit 1 Collective Agreement is as follows:

Effective 1 May 2017 - $28.76 per hour

Estimated Hours of Work: Variable

Duties:

  • Distribution and collection of test and examination materials
  • Taking of attendance and collection of signatures
  • Escorting of students to and from washroom facilities
  • Monitoring activities within the examination room
