ROPAPP opens to instructors to begin submitting project proposals for Summer 2018, Fall 2018, Winter 2019, and year-long ROP projects.

Friday, February 9

Deadline for instructors to submit online submission for ALL project proposals

Monday, February 5

NEW THIS YEAR: The Office of the Dean requires instructors to submit their ROP funding proposals prior to receiving approval of their project(s). To apply for the ROP research funds, please visit: https://www.utm.utoronto.ca/rop/faculty/rop-funding-request
 

In the ROPAPP, select the bank icon under "Action" to submit your funding request.

Tuesday, February 13

Deadline for instructors to submit all ROP funding proposals for Summer 2018, Fall 2018, Winter 2019, and year-long ROP projects. Late submissions may not be accepted.

Wednesday, February 14

All accepted project descriptions will be available through the ROPAPP for students to begin submitting application(s) online.

Monday, March 5
 

Deadline for students to submit application(s) through the ROPAPP.

NOTE: ROPAPP will close to students at 11:59pm.

Monday, March 19

Instructor DEADLINE to select students for SUMMER 2018 projects.

Friday, March 30

 

SUMMER 2018 students to be loaded into their approved ROP courses with a signed ROP contract on behalf of the student, instructor and Chair.

May

Students admitted to the SUMMER 2018 projects can begin work.

Friday, May 11      

Instructor DEADLINE to select students for Fall 2018, Winter 2019, and year-long ROP projects.

Monday, May 14- Friday, June 15

Fall 2018, Winter 2019, and year-long ROP projects to be loaded into their approved ROP courses with a signed ROP contract on behalf of the student, instructor and Chair.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

When submitting your project proposal through the ROPAPP note that the “Save Data” button automatically sends your project proposal to your chair for approval.  Please ensure that your project details are complete before you select “Save Data”.

Students selected to participate (approved) will be notified automatically via email through the ROPAPP.

Students cannot begin work until the contract has been agreed upon and signed through the ROPAPP by all three parties: student, instructor and chair.

Selected students will be automatically registered on ROSI during the registration periods for the SUMMER, FALL, WINTER and FALL/WINTER (YEAR-LONG) sessions.
