Areas of Research
My research and teaching interests are in the areas of human perception, aging, and systems of psychology. Some recent research investigates by means of psychophysical methods the contribution of binocular cues to the search, detection, and recognition of spatial patterns in complex visual displays, in both young and older adults. A second focus of current research concerns the conceptual analysis of the contributions of modern psychological thought to the understanding of the later stages of adulthood.
