UTM TATP Workshops Winter 2012 Notice
The Teaching Assistants’ Training Program (TATP) is offering a wide of variety of workshops on the UTM campus in the Winter term of 2012, and would like to share a brief list of our offerings with the UTM community. Please note that all TATP workshops are free and count towards either of the TATP’s two professional development certificates. TAs do not have to be enrolled in the TATP Certificate Program to participate, nor do they need to hold a current TA appointment.

- Demystifying Library Research. Thursday, Feb. 16th, 10-noon, UTM Library Room 448.
- An Introduction to Grading Lab Reports in the Sciences. Monday, February 27th, 11am-1pm, IB 385.
- Microteaching I. Friday, March 9th, 11am-2pm, Davis (South) Bldg 3093.
- Grading in the Humanities & Social Sciences. Wednesday, March 7th, 2-4pm, CCIT 2112 Conference Room.
- A session on how to effectively teach English language learners will be held on Wednesday, March 14th, 2-4pm, UTM Davis (South) Bldg Room 3093. Please check our website next week for more information about this session.
- Microteaching II. Friday, March 16th, 1-4pm, UTM CCIT Bldg 2130.
- Putting It All Into Words: Drafting a Statement of Teaching Philosophy. Wednesday, March 28th, 10-noon, IB395.
