Permits are sold on a first come, first served basis. Permits will not be held. Availability is not guaranteed

Permits are available to UTM students, staff and faculty only.


Accepted methods of Payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit, or CERTIFIED Cheque/Money Order (Payable to University of Toronto). All applications must be submitted in person with original signature (unless purchased online when available)

Credit Cards must be in the purchasers name. The Card Holder must be present at the time of purchase. Please note, refunds must go back to the same method of payment used to make the original purchase. If the original purchase was by credit card, the refund must go back to the same card with the card holder present for signature authorization. If this is not possible, the refund will be issued by way of university cheque which may be subject to a processing delay.

Please note the office does not accept cash or personal cheques as a form of payment

Lost or stolen permits will not be replaced - regardless of the circumstance.

2017-2018 UTM Student Parking Permit Application Information

FOR UTM STUDENTS:

On Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 8:00 a.m., registered UTM students may begin applying for their 2017-2018 Student Sessional or Annual parking permits either online or in person.  Please note: permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis as quantities are limited.  Availability is not guaranteed.

Students are only able to purchase one (1) permit, with the option to purchase a Sheridan supplementary permit, if needed. Duplicate permit purchases are prohibited. Any misuse of permits or multiple purchases will be automatically cancelled.

If you are unable to purchase a permit yourself, please ensure you make arrangements with a third party to do so on your behalf, as per our third party authorization process. Third parties purchases must be made in person. 
 

Online Application Information:

  • Start time: 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 through to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, inclusive.  As of Wednesday, August 23, 2017, the online system will be closed and all permit purchases must be made in person
  • How to apply: a link to the online system will be made available on the Parking & Transportation Services website at 8:00 a.m. on August 1st, 2017 (www.utm.utoronto.ca/parking)
  • Accepted online methods of payment: VISA, MasterCard and American Express
  • Permit pick-up start date: Begins Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Parking Office, Alumni House, room 108 (TCard required).
  • Permits will be valid as of September 1st, 2017
  • **IMPORTANT NOTES**
    • In order to access the online system, students MUST be enrolled in at least one UTM course in the fall or winter session(s).
    • First Year Students; please ensure you pick up your TCard and activate your UTORid in advance of the presale to ensure access.
    • Only one (1) UTM permit purchase allowed.

In Person Application Information:

  • Start time: 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Parking & Transportation Services Office located in the Alumni House, Room 108
  • Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Accepted methods of payment: Debit, VISA, MasterCard and American Express (please note, credit cards must be in the purchaser's name) OR certified cheques and money orders payable to 'University of Toronto'
  • *Student TCard is required*
  • 2017-2018 application forms will be made available on the Parking & Transportation website in July:
  • Permits are valid as of September 1st, 2017

    • TCards are swiped at time of purchase to confirm purchase eligibility. To be eligible, students MUST be enrolled in at least one UTM course in the fall or winter session(s).
