:: Membership

Membership in the UTM Multifaith Association consists of the UTM Chaplain (appointed by the University) and eight Associate Chaplains who are elected by the Association and appointed by the Office Student Affairs and Services. UTM Chaplains represent the Anglican, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Neo Pagan, Protestant, Roman Catholic and Wiccan faiths on campus. Chaplains are primarily funded by and representative of their own faith communities. They are not funded by, nor do they wholly represent, the University of Toronto.

The association exists to offer hospitality, support and spiritual guidance and care to all persons (of any or no faith) who seek it. The Chaplains are here to provide pastoral care and spiritual counsel for anyone at times of need or crisis.

The Association is also here to provide opportunities for prayer and worship. We encourage and support those who wish to explore issues of faith, ethics, or spirituality. We recognize the value of questioning and doubting as an important part of your personal growth and development. Consider us as a signpost for when you are wishing to make contact with a particular faith community.
