Bio

Tyler has been studying and working in Sustainability for over seven years. His journey has taken him from contributing to a Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan in the City of Markham, to planting over 120, 000 trees in the Gordon Cousens Forest. Currently, Tyler is working on various projects with Our Horizon – a non-profit organization that works with local governments to pass legislation to require climate change and air pollution disclosure labels on gas pumps.

Through the MScSM program, Tyler has focused on understanding how to encourage sustainable behaviour at the individual level. Specifically, his upcoming research with the MScSM will explore how technology and gamification can facilitate sustainable behaviour and personal well-being.

Outside his studies, Tyler has a passion for music. Whether he is playing, writing, or listening, he hopes that his life will always be filled with music.
