Momina graduated from the University of Guelph in 2016 with a degree in Accounting. Upon graduation, Momina was awarded the Certificate in Leadership based on her extensive volunteer work and strong understanding of key leadership theories.

During her undergraduate career, Momina was heavily involved with various extracurricular activities that helped her gain valuable leadership experience. In her third year, she took on the position of Vice President of Business & Alumni Relations for AIESEC Guelph, where she led a team of students in marketing AIESEC’s international exchange programs within the local business and academic communities. She also collaborated with local businesses to provide leadership development seminars to undergraduate students. Momina was also the undergraduate representative on University of Guelph’s Academic Integrity Advisory Committee, as well as the Student Services Fees Advisory Committee.  While at the University of Guelph, Momina was awarded 3rd Place in the International UN Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) Millennium Goal Challenge. This award was based on her group’s submission of a video proposal to the UN PRME forum regarding one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.  Momina attended the 2015 PRME Global Forum in New York City to collaborate with 300 global leaders in setting the path for management education and business in achieving the UN’s proposed SDGs. Momina is passionate about social issues and studying how they connect with key business and sustainability issues. She is looking forward to utilizing her education from the MScSM program to become a collaborative leader in the business world.

As someone who was born in Pakistan and lived there for nine years before moving to North America, Momina has gained a strong appreciation for studying different cultures and exploring the bridges between them. In her spare time, Momina enjoys literature, live theatre, exploring museums and galleries, and spending time with her friends and family.
