Students of the Week 11

Alexa VentriciAlexa Ventrici

Alexa graduated from the University of Toronto where she obtained a HBSc in Nutritional Science and Global Health.  Throughout her undergraduate studies, she was an active volunteer and held leadership roles with Peace By PEACE, an anti-bullying organization.   

Alexa works as a Medical Administrator for a start-up dermatology clinic and oversees business development projects using data analysis and social media.  She is known for her exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as well as for being a creative problem solver.   Alexa is seeking opportunities marketing, consulting and operations.

James ParrJames Parr

James earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Guelph. His co-op experiences allowed him to gain valuable experience in manufacturing and R&D in the automotive parts and food service industries.  He has strong technical skills and is an excellent communicator who enjoys working in teams. 

James is seeking opportunities with a sustainability or technology focus and has a keen interest in the start-up sector.  In his spare time, enjoys building projects using his 3D printer and has designed various quadcopter frames, redesigning and refining the strength to weight ratio of the frame. An avid backcountry camper, James loves spending his “down” time at Algonquin Park.

Khadine KaramathKhadine Karamath

While pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Toronto, Khadine became interested in the stock market and began successfully investing in over 250 shares.  She has exceptional communication skills and a keen interest in biotechnology and sustainability. 

During her studies, Khadine was a member of a winning product design team which created a novel  smart-dressing called ‘Sensiheal.’  She has strong technical abilities and is well-respected by her peers for her collaborative approach to team work. 

Lauren VysohlidLauren Vysohlid

Lauren completed her undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Western.  During her studies, she develop strong research and technical skills as well as exceptional interpersonal and organizational abilities.  Lauren also holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and has achieved the ELITE Certificate. 

She is seeking consulting, strategy and operations roles and hopes the MMI will allow her to complement her analytical abilities with strong business acumen.

Lauren is a former nationally ranked gymnast and a gifted violin player.
