Erin KlarHonours B. of Science - Kinesiology

University of Western Ontario

Erin graduated with distinction from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Throughout her undergraduate years, she devoted many hours to volunteering in hospital and healthcare facilities, where she gained a strong and nuanced understanding of the complexities and challenges that face our healthcare system. Over the past year, Erin has worked as a research assistant at SickKids Hospital in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. She has gained invaluable clinical and research experience as well as insight into the important role of biotechnology and innovation in optimizing healthcare.

Erin devotes much of her organizational, team work and time management skills to her many years training as a provincial level gymnast and a competitive soccer player. In her spare time, Erin also enjoys travelling, photography, baking, cycling and rock climbing.

Erin hopes to integrate her background in science and kinesiology with an increased understanding of business and innovation management. Through completion of the MMI program, she looks to apply this more complete skillset to addressing practical real-world problems in healthcare and its varied supportive industries.
