Students of the Week 11

Pragya VaidPragya Vaid

Pragya earned her HBSc degree in immunology and physiology from the University of Toronto where she was the recipient of a summer research scholarship that allowed her to study in the Czech Republic for one summer.  An active volunteer with the Orissa Socio-Cultural Organization, Pragya also received the   Ontario Volunteer Service in recognition of committing 5 years of service to the organization. 

Pragya is the VP of this year’s GMCA UTM chapter and hopes to work in consulting once she completes her MMI studies.   

Yaswanth ManabotulaYaswanth Manabotula

Yaswanth recently completed his Honours BMSc studies at Western University. During his studies, he completed several research projects pertaining to breast cancer which allowed him to develop exceptional critical thinking and analytical abilities.

Yaswanth hopes to work in a strategy role in the technology sector post MMI.  He is an avid traveler and plays cricket competitively.

Amrit MehtaAmrit Mehta

Amrit hopes to work in the technology or healthcare sectors after he completes his MMI studies.  He holds a Bachelor of Science (Biology) as well as a Masters of Science (Biology) from the University of Waterloo. 

Outside of school, Amrit enjoys fitness, dance and music.  He has even worked as a personal trainer for some retired professional athletes. 

Susan SelvaSusan Selva

Susan graduated from the University of Toronto and the Michener Institute in Medical Radiation Sciences and works at Trillium Health Partners as a clinical radiation therapist. She has been selected by her peers to serve on numerous committees as a team lead on clinical initiatives.

Susan has a strong interest in global health and business and hopes to work for a start-up after she completes her MMI studies.
