Shafique Virani, a professor in the Department of Historical Studies at U of T Mississauga, is soaring to new heights with his innovative project, Journey to the Roof of the World: The Travels of Pir Sabzali in Central Asia, which recently helped him garner a Ministry of Research and Innovation's prestigious Early Researcher Award (ERA).

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and snacks and join us at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.) in front of the South Building at U of T Mississauga. Free parking is available in Lot 4 for the duration of the event.

Conference to examine crime prevention, safe city strategies
