Three U of T faculty members have received a thumbs up from the Ontario Confederation of Faculty Associations (OCUFA) for their teaching skills.

Professors Susan McCahan of mechanical and industrial engineering, Shafique Virani of historical studies at U of T Mississauga and Michael Wiley of anatomy are winners of 2010 OCUFA Teaching and Academic Librarianship Awards, garnering three of this year's five awards for U of T.

Approximately seven of the awards are given annually and the teaching winners are those who are truly outstanding and have an impact on cognitive development and or student learning.
