The U of T Mississauga Library GIS & Data Service, located in the Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre, provides assistance to faculty and students in the use of Geospatial and Statistical datasets and technology. While providing "on campus" access to federal, provincial and municipal datasets from across Canada and international sources, the GIS & Data service also works closely with Map, GIS,and Data Library staff from the Robarts Library to provide timely and high quality geospatial and numeric data.

The U of T Mississauga Library currently has four GIS/Data workstations with a wide array of software including the ArcGIS, ArcView, ArcInfo Workstation, and MapInfo. Data packages include SPSS, Shazam, and Excel. These are located in the AstraZeneca Canada Centre for Information and Technological Literacy on the third floor.

The GIS/Data workstations are available at all times that the Centre is open, and help is available with the software on most weekdays between 8:30-4:30pm. It is highly recommended that users needing assistance make an appointment in advance with the GIS/Data Librarian. For an appointment, please call (905) 828-3886 or fill out the online form.
