Fall 2017

Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City

Ottawa, Montreal & Quebec City

Spend 9 days and 8 nights exploring French Canada as we visit Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City. This experience will give students an opportunity to learn about the history of Upper and Lower Canada before it was even a country. Practice your French as we explore the cobblestone old towns in Quebec, eat your way through traditional cuisine, learn about Canada's rich sport history, and understand the country's political system.

Activities

Activities may include:

  • Tour of Parliament Hill and Centre Block;
  • Walk along the famous Rideau Canal and explore the ByWard Market;
  • Visit the Canadian War Museum and understand the impact of war on the nation;
  • Learn about the importance of the Plains of Abraham, La Citadelle, and Quebec’s fortifications in shaping New France;
  • Explore the cobblestone roads and colonial archictecture of Old Quebec;
  • Visit St. Joseph Oratoire du Mont Royal, Mount Royal, and Old Montreal;
