For Parents

Do you have a child between 1 month and 15 years of age? Are you curious about how children's understanding of music and language develops?

Every year, hundreds of families participate in studies at the University of Toronto Mississauga, and by doing so provide us with valuable information about listening skills and their development in the early months and years of life. You too can participate!

We have developed game-like procedures that are fun for the infant while providing important information for us.

Participating families schedule a visit at their convenience to our facilities at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Most studies require one visit lasting less than 45 minutes.

All studies are risk-free and you remain with your child at all times.

We provide free parking and a playroom for brothers and sisters. Participants receive a small toy, a copy of our Infant and Child Studies newsletter, and a Junior Scientist Degree (see below) as a token of our appreciation. If you are interested in signing up click here or give us a call at 905-828-5446.

We look forward to hearing from you!
