The University of Toronto at Mississauga (UTM) operates a shuttle bus system between the Mississauga and St. George (downtown Toronto) campuses of the university. The regular fare is $6.00 each way.
Registered students whose home college is U of T Mississauga are eligible to use the shuttle at no charge providing they produce their valid U of T Mississauga Student ID card for verification at the time of boarding.
Tickets must be purchased in advance at specific ticket sale locations. Please see the "Shuttle Bus Fare" tab for more information - drivers do not sell tickets, collect cash, or provide change. Students whose home college is not U of T Mississauga (eg. UC, VC, SMC etc) but are enrolled in classes at U of T Mississauga are NOT eligible to ride the shuttle bus at no charge. These students are required to present a ticket to board the shuttle bus.
The U of T Mississauga Intercampus Student Shuttle Service is intended for the use of valid University of Toronto (UTM & St. George) students & Shuttle Pass Holders. External events may not utilize the U of T Mississauga Student Shuttle Service for their own needs.

Fares: The regular fare per one-way trip is $6.00 (grey ticket). Tickets are non-refundable
Tickets: Purchase tickets at St. George at the porter's desk in Hart House year-round. During the regular fall and winter terms, purchase tickets at U of T Mississauga at the Student Centre's Information Desk. U of T Mississauga students should present their IDs when boarding the shuttle for verification and may be confiscated if improper use is suspected. Tickets are non-refundable. (Reimbursements, exchanges and/or credits will not be issued by any shuttle bus ticket sales location or by the Parking & Transportation Office under any circumstance.)
Costs: The average full cost of operating the shuttle is approximately $6.00 per passenger per ride. (Similar passage on public transit costs approx. $5.25.) Each registered U of T Mississauga student in 2008-2009 is charged a fee of approximately $77 (full-time) or $15 (part-time) for the period of September to April whether they use the shuttle or not. This subsidizes the shuttle for fellow U of T Mississauga students. A detailed explanation of the rate history and decision-making process is available on-line in .pdf format. Drop-off/Pick-up locations: Shuttle stops at U of T Mississauga are at the bus shelter by the main entrance of the Kaneff Centre, and at the front/north entrance of the North Building. Shuttle stop location on the St. George Campus is on Hart House Cirlcle in front of Hart House - The shuttle bus does NOT make unscheduled or amended stops.
Alternatives: It is expected that students will arrange their own transportation for classes not covered by the current operating schedule. If the current operating schedule(s) does not meet your needs, alternatives are available. Mississauga Transit buses link with the Toronto Transit Commission subway system at Islington Station. The Fine Print: Shuttle departure times are approximate, usually within 5 minutes. Schedules and fare are subject to modification by U of T Mississauga as necessary. U of T Mississauga is not responsible for service disruptions or delays, including weather and traffic.
Passenger courtesy: Please refrain from littering, eating, drinking and bringing pets on the shuttle. Smoking is prohibited at all times. The driver reserves the right to restrict "oversize" items being carried on the shuttle.
Accommodations for passengers using wheelchairs: Some, although not all, shuttles are equipped with two wheelchair positions. To help ensure availability, please book in advance completing an AccessAbility registration form that can be picked up from the Parking & Transportation Office in Alumni House Room 108 or download the form from AccessAbility Registration Form. Wheelchair service is available at U of T Mississauga's Kaneff Centre and St. George's Hart House shuttle stops; not at U of T Mississauga's North Building.
Aid: Students who face financial hardship are encouraged to contact their home college/faculty registrar's office to inquire about bursary support for educational expenses.
