I&ITS Launching New Ticket System – Tomorrow Tuesday May 10th

The new IT Service Request and Incident tracking platform is launching tomorrow!    The WebHelpDesk ticketing system will be replaced with our new ServiceNow technology, a new service support platform that will help improve customer service to the UTM community. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday May 10th, all IT support tickets will be handled through the new ServiceNow ticketing system. A new community portal will be launched tomorrow from which all staff and faculty can notify I&ITS of problems and/or request services.

On Tuesday May 10th, I&ITS is launching the replacement of the WebHelpDesk ticketing system with our new ServiceNow technology, a new service support platform that will help improve customer service to the UTM community.   I&ITS has been testing the new platform in a soft launch status since April 12th.  Starting Tuesday, May 10th, all IT support tickets will be handled through the new ServiceNow ticketing system.

I&ITS is replacing their ticketing system with a new technology that will help improve customer service to the UTM community.  The ServiceNow platform is replacing the WebHelpDesk system. In preparation for a May 3rd production launch, I&ITS is implementing a three week soft launch period starting April 12.  During the transition period April 12-May 3, our existing product, WebHelpDesk, will still be operational.

Drupal Maintenance - March 16th, 2016

There will be a short Drupal maintenance on March 17th between 7:00am and 7:30am. The UTM website may be unavailable during this time.

Phishing message going around pretending to be UofT IT

Phishing message that says your storage limit has been reached and a link to steal users' credentials

This message is currently being sent to various UofT email addresses lying to users' about their storage size limit and providing a fake link to steal credential information from our users. This information is sometimes used to access pay information (change payee address so they receive the paycheque instead of you) or other malicious things. Best thing to do is mark as spam and delete the message.
