Datacenter shutdown – Sunday, June 30th 7am to 2pm

Please note, UTM Facilities Management and Planning will be powering off the Davis Building datacenter to install backup power, in advance of an upcoming broader Davis shutdown in August.  This will increase resilience to power outages, and ensure preservation of connectivity services during future power shutdowns.

 

HOW WILL THIS OUTAGE WILL IMPACT YOU:  

All campus wireless and wired networks will not be available.

The following systems will be unavailable:

  •          Shuttle Bus Schedule
  •          Special Request
  •          Audio Video Booking
  •          Online Phonebook
  •          Resource Booking System
  •          UPass
  •          Faculty web sites (on sites.utm.utoronto.ca)
  •          DHCP services
  •          DNS Services
  •          License Management Service
  •          Staff/Faculty departmental network share services
  •          Citrix XenApp service
  •          Clockwork
  •          SharePoint service
  •          SCCM service
  •          Conference Pro
  •          Door controller access management service
  •          Staff & Student printing services
  •          All departmental Windows-based hosted servers within the I&ITS datacenter
  •          Online Parking
  •          All client hosted Servers within our virtual environment
