Application Process

In order to be considered for a room in our student residences, please complete the housing application process by visiting https://starportal.utoronto.ca.

Please enter your U of T student number then click on "obtain password".  A password will be automatically sent to your email that is registered with the University with further instructions. 

Once you receive your login credentials, under the Applications tab, select the UTM - Grad & Medical Housing 2017-2018 application.  Please do not fill in the incorrect housing application as applications may be delayed or cancelled.

Housing Application Deadlines

For Current Residents:
If you are looking to sign a new occupancy agreement for the 2017-2018 term, you will still be required to complete your housing application before 5:00 p.m. (EST) Friday, June 23rd, 2017.

For New Applicants:
To be considered for housing in the upcoming 2017-2018 term the housing application must be completed before 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Friday, July 7th, 2017.

Eligibility

In order to be considered for residence in medical housing, the applicant must be:

  • Full-time student at the Mississauga Academy of Medicine (MAM) or Biomedical Communication (BMC) programs at the University of Toronto

  • The applicant must remain as a full-time student in a degree-granting program at the University of Toronto (3.0 credits or more in the current session) and

  • Must remain in Good Academic Standing as defined in the University of Toronto Mississauga Academic Calendar with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 1.50 or more.

In order to be considered for residence in graduate housing, the applicant must be:

  • Registered with the University in a graduate program or be an undergraduate student who is 21 years of age, or older, who is registered with the University as a mature student.

  • The applicant must remain as a full-time student in a degree-granting program at the University of Toronto (3.0 credits or more in the current session) and

  • Must remain in Good Academic Standing as defined in the University of Toronto Mississauga Academic Calendar with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 1.50 or more.
