Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is the world's leading suicide first aid (intervention) workshop.  The ASIST model teaches effective suicide intervention skills while helping to build suicide prevention networks in our community. Virtually anyone aged 16 years or older, regardless of prior experience or training, can become an ASIST-trained caregiver.

ASIST is a two-day (15 hour) interactive training session in which participants learn to intervene and help prevent immediate risk of suicide.  The workshop balances challenge and safety to create a meaningful learning experience that incorporates group discussions, skills practice and development, and guidance from two registered trainers. Participation in the full two days is required.
